Inverary Resort

The Inverary Resort is located on the waterfront in Cape Breton's Baddeck, the starting point of the world-famous Cabot Trail. In keeping with the famed inventor's tradition, the MacAulay Family has been extending a warm welcome to the world over for over 30 years. Originally built in 1850, this 11-acre resort sits on the shores of the glorious Bras d'Or Lakes, and offers you breathtaking views of the area. Traditional rooms in the Argyle, Glasgow or Campbell Halls have two double beds that can accommodate up to quad occupancy based on sharing existing beds. Guestroom amenities include air conditioning, hairdryers, modem connections, tea and coffee makers and cable television. Inverary Resort's dining facilities are members of "Taste of Nova Scotia" and include Flora's Dining Room in the Main Lodge offering superior dining in a quaint setting with the magnificent view of the Bras d'Or Lakes, Lakeside Café for casual dining is located on the waterfront with an outdoor patio offering a fantastic view of Baddeck Bay, and the Thistledown Pub - a traditional Scottish neighborhood pub with the largest selection of beer & ale on Cape Breton Island. Enjoy a game of pool and famous Cape Breton music. There is also entertainment most nights during peak season. Activities to enjoy while visiting include taking a cruise on Alexander Graham Bell's private yacht - the Elsie, the lakeside activity centre with kayaks and canoes, spending a day at the full service spa and fitness centre or relaxing by the indoor pool.
