The Walmer guesthouse is easily found lying just off the M9 in Bridge of Allan near Stirling. Bridge of Allan is a picturesque village steeped in history about 3 miles from Stirling and within walking distance of many Stirling tourist attractions such as the William Wallace monument and the University of Stirling. Our guesthouse is the nearest to the university.Our new restaurant is one of the best in the area and residents can enjoy a 2 course set choice dinner at £ 13.95 or £ 15.95 per person . You will find the Walmer guest house a comfortable haven in the heart of Scotland offering friendly and accommodating service at good guest house rates. The guest house has been managed and owned by Jan and Claudio's family for over 15 years. The old restaurant has been relocated to new premises and has now become one of the best dining experiences in central Scotland. The restaurant is about 800 yards from the guest house by car. For the guesthouse residents we have available sunday to friday includeda 2 course set choice dinner at £13.95 or £ 15.95 per personWe will be happy to run our shuttle service if you wish to eat at the restaurant and you can always decie to walk downhill on your way back to help you digest your scrumptious meal. The guest house is no longer licenced so we do not provide any refreshment but your tea and coffee facilities and breakfast from 7.30 to 9.30am are still available.
