Welcome to the Shoulder of Mutton we offer a family operated bed and breakfast above our public house and we are located just a short stroll from the heart of one of Europe's most historic cities. The Shoulder of Mutton is the perfect place to stay to visit York including such attractions The original building was built in 1898 and offers guests individually decorated rooms featuring all the modern conveniences you could possibly need for a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We are fully licensed with a large range of beers spirits and wines and also have a beautiful large garden at the rear which our guest can enjoy a drink and feel free to relax in.All our rooms and public areas are non-smoking.We have ample parking at the rear of the building free to our customers. For those who do not wish to stroll in to the city there is a regular bus service which picks up outside the building every 10 minutes. We offer a wide range of meals served on a lunch time and evening.
