Chy Morvah
Chy Morvah meaning house by the sea' is an appropriate name for this seaside hotel. Views from the lounge and dining room extend across the golden sands of St Ives Bay to the lighthouse at Godrevy Point. The house designated non-smoking has 37 en-suite bedrooms equipped with a hairdryer clock radio and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Televisions and telephones are not provided in the bedrooms. Guests can relax in the three lounges bar or conservatory. The outdoor heated swimming pool is open from May to September inclusive and guests can also enjoy putting outdoors or pool and table tennis in the indoor games room.Meals are served in an informal friendly atmosphere at tables for up to eight guests. A three-course dinner is served at 7 to 7.30pm for a charge of 18 GBP per person. If you would like to dine at the country house please contact the house before 6pm to make your dinner reservation. A choice of full English or continental breakfast is offered. To allow you to make the most of your touring or walking holiday a self-select picnic lunch can be provided for the small charge of 10 GBP per person. Free car parking is available. Please notify the country house in advance if you intend to arrive after 10.30pm. Bedrooms are available from 2.30pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.This country house is an excellent base for those on an activity or walking holiday. Nearby attractions include The Lizard Peninsula and Lands End the Eden Project 45 miles away and the Lost Gardens of Heligan 39 miles away.
