The Halfway House Inn St Jidgey is a family run Freehouse offering food real ales open fires and bed and breakfast accommodation in 5 en -suite rooms with both private parking and a large pub car park. We offer doubles singles twins and family rooms. Our extensive locally sourced and freshly cooked menu is available from 12-2pm and 6-9pm Monday to Saturday and on Sundays 12-2 (Sunday Roast Dinners) and 7-9pm (evening menu). We are located in the north of Cornwall on the A39 between Wadebridge and St Columb Major just 2 miles past the Royal Cornwall Showground. We are approximately six miles from Padstow four miles from Wadebridge and ten miles from Newquay. With the Royal Cornwall Showground just up the road we are in a great position for visiting or as a base for touring. The pub is within easy reach of some of Cornwalls biggest attractions the Eden Project at St Austell Lanhydrock House at Bodmin Crealy Adventure Park home of Doc Martin at Port Isaac the harbour town of Padstow the Camel Trail (Bodmin Wadebridge Padstow) which is increasingly popular and the ancient Saints Way footpath. In booking with laterooms.com you accept the following conditions - check-in is available 12-2pm daily and 5:30-10pm (please note that from 1st November to Easter we are closed from 2pm Sundays to 5:30pm Mondays) . You cannot check-in while the pub is closed (from 2pm to 5:30pm daily and during winter from Sunday 2pm to Monday 5:30pm) - once checked in you have your own entrance and can come and go as and when you wish. No Shows are charged at the full reservation price. On arrival please park at the front of the building and check in at the bar. Please note that all rooms and decking areas are non-smoking - there are designated smoking areas provided at the front and back of the buildings. Guests who smoke in their rooms will be asked to leave with no refund and be charged an additional fee to cover the cost of cleaning. Mattress Protectors are available by pre arrangement. Please note that damage to property will be invoiced for and if unpaid enforced through the County Court system.
