This two star family owned city centre hotel comprises a collection of six listed buildings around a courtyard setting. The oldest building (pictured) dates from 1659. Situated on Skeldergate the ancient Roman waterfront that now leads from the city walls across the river to the historic city. The convenient location combined with the hotels scenic setting is ideal for exploring York and the surrounding area. The railway station and all major attractions are within easy walking distance. The University and other business areas are also easily accessible from the hotel.
