The Grove Inn Fat Frog

Set in a wooded Vally adjacent to the museum of Iron. This family run coaching is has its own unique style.Originally owned by the Coalbrookdale Company it was reportedly the first Commercial Hotel in the gorge. It oozes character with low beams and log burners . Our rooms are somewhat quirky but in keeping with a traditional coaching Inn(it also has its own ghost believed to be a quaker and affectionately named Percy) Couple this with a French twist. Murals of The Moulin Rouge and Street Cafes adorn the walls. ChefProprietor Johnny Coleau has created a corner of France in Coalbrookdale. In fact a recent guest christened us little France in our guest book.Traditional French Classics of Boeuf Bourguignon and Coq Au Vin are are found on extensive menu alongside a large selection of British and Continental dishes as well as a selection of Stone Ovenbaked Pizzas of your choice baked to order including our unique Pudding Pizzas. . Our dining area is comfortable and relaxed with a Bistro feel to it or if weather permits our large outside Terrace offers al fresco dining. All of our rooms are en-suite with colour T.V (satelite) and tea and coffee making facilities and have recently been recarpeted and refurbished.. Residents also have there own private lounge with private entrance adjacent to the bar. Off road parking covered by CCTV.We are now able to offer guests Free Hotspot Wi-fi .
