Abingworth Hall

Abingworth Hall stands in a country estate with its own lake and extensive parkland and is bordered by peaceful farmland. This country house designated non-smoking offers 24 en-suite bedrooms equipped with a hairdryer clock radio and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Televisions are provided in the bedrooms. Guests can relax in the conservatory bar in the paneled drawing room or in the elegant lounge with grand piano. A games room with table tennis and board games is available and the outdoor heated swimming pool is open from May to September inclusive. In the grounds guests can enjoy a game of croquet boules or putting. Meals are served in an informal friendly atmosphere at tables for up to eight guests. A three-course dinner is served at 7 to 7.30pm for a charge of 18 GBP per person. If you would like to dine at the country house please contact the house before 6pm to make your dinner reservation. A choice of full English or continental breakfast is offered. To allow you to make the most of your touring or walking holiday a self-select picnic lunch can be provided for the small charge of 10 GBP per person. Free car parking is available. Please notify the country house in advance if you intend to arrive after 10.30pm. Bedrooms are available from 2.30pm on the day of arrival and should be vacated by 10.00am on the day of departure.This country house is an excellent base for those on an activity or walking holiday. Other nearby attractions include Arundel castle Batemans the home of Rudyard Kipling and Brighton which is 15 miles away. This country house has a 4-star Visit Britain rating.
