The charming Hotel La Fábrica de Solfa was an old paper mill which was built on late 18th century. Surrounded by the Matarraña river and next to the stone bridge which allows the access to the small town Beceite (Matarraña-Teruel). The production of paper marked the urban nature of the brook of Matarraña river along with the construction of big buildings and their additional installions: the dams and irrigation channels that used to carry water so as to move the wheels that transmit the necessary strength to prepare the wood pulp.The both second floors old paper drying sheds you will see an important number of small factory style windows that emphasize the hotel industrial appearance and there is where the eight bedrooms of the hotel are placed.
