Filicumis-es Castellot
he Filicumis farm is situated in an exceptional setting between the slopes of the site of special interest (Paraje Natural) of the Tramuntana Mountain Range and the Pla de Mallorca. From there you can see among other things the mountains of s'Alcadena the castle of Alaró and the Tossals Verds (these are walks along stone paths).On the land of the farm itself there are two places of archaeological interest: the Talaiot Es Castellots and an ancient funerary cave which can be visited easily in a pleasant walk.The Tossals Verds path which leads to the farm offers you lots of walks or bicycle trips through the Tramuntana mountains. The farm's situation in the centre of the island allows you to drive to the bays of Alcudia and Pollensa in 20 minutes.The neighbouring villages are Binissalem with its long wine-making tradition Aloró with its castle from the Muslem era and its sanctuary and Inca one of the most important villages on the island with a long tradition of shoe making and where you can find the famous Camper' shoe shop.Calmari Mancor de la Vall o Selva are nearby picturesque little villages which lead to the Monastery of Lluc. Lloseta is the village nearest to Filicumis where guests can supply themselves with everything they need or if they prefer they can eat there in restaurants like Can Carrossa or Can Santi Taura.
